A Peaceful Habitation joins hands with others whose mission and vision is similar.
Inmates are released back into our communities each week with only $50 dollars in their pocket. The majority have no money or financial support, no food or clothing, no family or friends, and no work skills or hope for the future. Add to this reality that 3 out of 4 inmates have substance abuse problems, but only about 10% received any formal treatment while they are incarcerated and you'll soon see why we all need to help each other. |
